Samsung heat pump installed. I have to say from start to finish the service provided by Will and his team was outstanding. From initial contact with Jade who was extremely helpful to survey by Will and Farley my wife and I were very impressed with wills knowledge and manner. My first meeting on day of installation start, he impressed me with no problem can do attitude as he opted for the more difficult option to install pipe work when an easier and faster choice was available to him. His workmanship is to a very high standard, installation completed in time frame and endured multitude of questions I fired at him with positive answers at every occasion. In arranging for our heat pump we dealt on the phone with Jade at Thermodynamics who was always cheerful,efficient and helpful. Will, the main installer, visited to assess our needs, which included a slimline water cylinder to fit in our airing cupboard.

We were worried that the installation of our pump would be very disruptive. However it went very smoothly. Installation began on a Monday at the end of January. Will and Farley began by replacing our hot water cylinder. We had a short period without hot water and then had hot water from the new cylinder’s immersion facility. Thermodynamics supplied us with electric heaters so we could warm our rooms as needed. Will and Farley were very easy to work with and very neat and tidy, careful to clean up after themselves everyday. Installation was complete by close on Thursday and the pump was handed over to us on the Friday.

We have been pleasantly surprised at how warm the pump keeps the house, maintaining the temperature better than our gas boiler. The pump also handles the hot water well - its immersion facility is only a fall back. The only problem was in connecting the pump to our Wi-Fi. This is apparently often tricky. Usually Thermodynamics manage to do it by persistently trying but in our case we had to have a visit from a Vaillant engineer (who also eventually did it by persistently trying). With this connection we can control the system via our phones. We have also given Thermodynamics phone access so they can if necessary monitor our system and adjust it for us remotely which Will did when adjusting our settings to suit our Cosy Octopus electricity tariff.

We have now had our pump for seven weeks. We are very pleased with it and would highly recommend Thermodynamics as installers.

These guys are the best. Having had some questionable advice from others they saved us so much money and got us the correct size heat pump for our place. They were so knowledgeable and efficient and fitted everything so quickly cleaning up after themselves. Would highly recommend.

Great team! Came when they said they would, did a fantastic job and were respectful throughout. Ours is a 200 year old stone built cottage and had no central heating whatsoever. The heating is working fantastically well and we love coming home to a warm house. They went above and beyond and maintained great communication. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Thermodynamics installed my air source heat pump and I could not be happier with the result! They were really professional and answered all my questions before the work was carried out. They did a heat loss survey to make sure my radiators and pipework would be suitable for the heat pump and I had a couple of new radiators fitted which were larger than the old ones. The installers were polite and tidy, they even cleaned up each night before they left. The heat pump works seamlessly, it has saved me money compared to the old gas boiler and keeps the house just the right temperature all the time. For anyone who is unsure of heat pumps, I would urge you to call this company and speak to them about your concerns, they are really helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good system which works right.

Thermodynamics arrived on time, were polite and professional and cleaned up after the installation. Their lead engineer Will explained all our concerns prior to starting work and addressed any questions I had at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to recommend thermodynamics for any heating or renewables work, and I will certainly be using their services in the future.

Just had a heat pump installed in my Sheffield 4 bed 1930's Semi by Thermodynamics South Yorkshire Ltd. They installed an open zone system with a 5k Vaillant Arotherm and 250L horizontal tank and lots of new radiators. I can't recommend them highly enough, from the initial visit through to completion of the job they have been fantastic.

They clearly have a passion for the job and went to great lengths to ensure that the system was installed correctly and sized for the house. Everything was done to a great standard and they left the place cleaner than they found it!

I had a heat pump fitted from these guys almost a month ago, it works flawlessly. They've been brilliant to deal with, I can't recommend them enough. Will, the engineer who installed the heat pump, did an initial survey and asked me lots of questions about what I was looking for, there was zero pressure at all for them trying to sell me anything.

The installation itself just took over a week, they removed the entire existing hot water system, replumbed all new pipes with new radiators, and worked around me as best as they could to minimise disruption. Will has been incredibly professional throughout, it has been clear he takes a lot of pride in the work that he does.

The company have been very professional throughout and I would have no qualms recommending them to others. Will came out and did the heat loss survey and then returned for the fitting. Although the installation was complex and took a little longer than anticipated, there was no suggestion of increasing the agreed fees and it was good to see Will maintaining his attention to detail and focus on achieving a high quality output. I felt reassured to have someone who clearly had such an interest in and understanding of heat pumps fitting mine.

Professional, thorough, trustworthy, reliable and honest. Delighted with my new Air Source Heat Pump, plenty of hot water, ambient temperatures very comfortable, no cold periods waiting for the gas boiler to kick in, saving money already and i can see how much energy it generates and what it costs. Early days but a COP of 3.5! With some minor adjustments I believe 4 may be within reach! Also the Vaillant ASHP is unobtrusive and so so quiet. Professional, thorough, trustworthy, reliable and honest.

Thermodynamics director, Will designed a comprehensive and bespoke heating and hot water system, tailored to my property and to my family’s specific home comfort requirements. Also being careful to create a system that was energy efficient. Using his own comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm of air source heating systems, he then installed the whole system throughout the house.

He and his colleagues were courteous, respectful of us and our property. Protecting and cleaning all of the house as they completed the install. Always informing and asking us about different aspects of the installation. Taking immense pride in their work.

Upon completion and after cleaning the whole house Will gave us a personal tour of the system and how to use it.
As a new installation I need to get used to a different type of heating system, after having removed my old gas combi system. In the short time since the install, the temperature throughout the house is constant and comfortable. The pressurised hot water is amazing.

Thermodynamics South Yorkshire have been fantastic from start to finish. Will and Jade have been happy to answer my many questions. Of the 3 heat loss surveys and quotes I received, Will was the only one to take into account that we had underfloor insulation and size the heat pump accordingly. Later experimentation has shown his calculations to much more accurate than the others, with the others significantly over estimating the heat loss and thus over sizing the pump. When it was first commissioned the weather was between -1 and 3 C and the heat pump heated the house to 21C and would have kept going had we not turned it down as we were plenty warm enough.

Will and Farley have been excellent installers (skilled, polite, friendly, considerate of those in the house) , and the house has been tidy and suitable for children (age 1,3 and 5) to be in, even when they had to take up flooring.

During fitting the weather was cold outside but Thermodynamics South Yorkshire provided electric heaters that kept the house warm enough to be in, and disruption to hot water was minimal.
